DESCRIPTION:
Only 150 produced world wide. Each timepiece is individually numbered. The first thing you will notice is the spectacular dark blue lacquer dial. The Jubilee collection dials receive 12 layers of lacquer before undergoing a brushing and polishing treatment, followed by a printing process. You will appreciate that all feature printed white markers, instead of receiving the applied metallic markers many of the regular production Big Pilot versions. The blue dial also gets a special treatment of rhodium hands painted with highly luminous material.
Collectors with also appreciate that this is the only model in the Jubilee collection from 2018 that received a different and unique movement. This is the first Big Pilot offered by IWC to have the big date feature with a mechanical 8 days movement. There is a power reserve indicator on the case back, along with the commemorative engraved 150 year logo.
