DESCRIPTION:
This is a fantastic "re-make" special edition watch from Panerai. The PAM 29 was originally introduced in 1999 as a regular production A series watch and again in 2000 as a B series watch. In typical Panerai fashion, the PAM 29 models were made in low production numbers and then discontinued. Rather than making the watch a regular production piece in 2010, Panerai decided to make a 1000 piece Special Edition production run for their Panerai watch collectors.
This is the only Panerai watch with a Rolex Explore style bezel. It is also only one of two models (that were regular production models) that had a large sweeping second hand. And this is the only model to sport the two dimentional "tuxedo dial".
If Panerai were not unique enough, this model is one with the most character. I loved it the first time I saw a PAM 29 ten years ago, and I still love it today!
The watch is 44 mm and made of stainless steel. The stainless steel bezel has engraved black painted explore style numbers. It has a unique black tuxedo dial with a large sweeping second hand and a date feature. The movement is automatic and self winding. The watch comes on an OEM Panerai tan calf strap with a Pre Vendom style buckle. A second OEM Rubber dive strap is included. Because it is a special limited production timepiece, it comes in a huge pearwood presentation box and is complete with papers and all of its accessories.

Functions: hours, minutes, seconds, date, second time zone.
Case: diameter 44 mm, AISI 316L polished steel.
Bezel: brushed steel with 24hours indicator.
Back: screw, brushed steel.
Device protecting the crown: (protected as a Trade Mark) polished steel.
Dial: black with stripes. Luminous hour markers and Arabic numerals. Small seconds dial at 3 o’clock.
Crystal: sapphire, formed of corundum, 2.5 mm thick. Anti-reflective coating.
Water resistance: 30 bar (~300 metres).
Strap: PANERAI personalised leather strap and polished steel buckle. Supplied with a steel screwdriver and a second interchangeable strap.
