Very Good condition with box and papers.
This is a highly collectible Panerai watch. The polished stainless steel 44mm case has a black dial with tritium painted markers and hands that have a nice cream-colored patina which gives it a vintage look. The insignia under the 6 states T-Swiss-T. When it comes to Panerai collecting, less is more. This is a base model which has hours and minutes only is considered the perfect tool watch. It has a mechanical movement with a power reserve of 42 hours. Although 1000 units were created in 1997, very few become available on the secondary market. Making this watch collectible is the nice set that comes with the watch. It comes with its original A series pearwood box but does not have outer cartons and is missing a movement sticker. Also, it has a rare OEM Panerai rubberized carbon fiber style strap. You will appreciate the two handmade aftermarket straps, screwdriver, manual, Libretto (guarantee booklet) and warranty card.
The watch has some minor surface marks that can easily be polished out. There is a very small scratch on the crystal near 3 o'clock. I use a Leica camera set on a macro setting. It is minor and very difficult to see with the naked eye.
