Very Good to Excellent condition with box, papers and accessories as shown.
Long out of production and collectible!
Presenting a preowned Panerai PAM 118 which has a titanium case that measures 44mm. It is unmistakable a Panerai as it has a patented locking crown also made of titanium. It comes on a brown alligator strap with a tang thumbnail style titanium buckle. You will also receive the second original Panerai rubber dive strap and athird aftermarket green colored snakeskin strap and screwdriver. Easy to change yourself in just a couple of minutes! The titanium case has a brushed silver-grey color which looks fantastic with the tobacco dial with painted luminous numbers and markers. The color of the numbers and markers match the color of the hands and glow brightly in the dark. In my humble opinion, this is one of the best colored dials Panerai has ever created! The "tobacco" color can appear brown, grey or even black depending on the light or contrast created by the color strap which is on the watch. It is a chameleon and always great looking! You will also appreciate the exhibition case back where you can view the highly decorated Panerai mechanical movement. The modified ETA, OP movement has an approximate 42-hour power reserve and is extremely durable and shock-resistant. With a thick crystal and water-resistant features, it is water resistant to 300 meters (1000 feet)! * The crystal has some very small light scratches in the anti-reflective coating at 12:00 o'clock. My pictures are taken with a Leica camera on a macro setting, and these marks are difficult to see.
This set is missing the brown and black outer cartons as well as the movement sticker. But it does have the most important papers in my humble opinion. It comes with the manual, Libretto (guarantee booklet), warranty card (dated December 2002) and COSC certificate.
The PAM 118 (also known as PAM00118) was only made for two years in an E (3,500 units) and F (700 units) series. This is a relatively low number of watches created as a regular production timepiece by any standard. It will make a collectible yet great daily wear timepiece!
