This is a fantastic Panerai 44 mm chronograph watch. It has a brushed stainless-steel bezel and a brushed stainless-steel case. The watch is on an OEM Panerai black rubber dive strap and has a Panerai Pre Vendom style buckle. This model is functional with an automatic movement, chronograph and date function. Best of all it is stunning! This is a special edition for the Regatta Classics Yachts Challenge boat race sponsor of Panerai. Each year they come out with a new stunning model. This is the third in a line of chronograph watches that has a unique hobnail (textured) dial and blue second hand. This is the least expensive of the models similar. Yet this one is the only one with a classic 44 mm case and traditional button pushers for the chronograph. Of course, it has the patented locking crown making it unmistakably a Panerai. This piece was made in a very small special edition limited to only 500 units.

Movement: hand-wound mechanical, exclusive Panerai OP XXVI calibre, 13 ¼ lignes, 24 jewels, monometallic Glucydur® balance, 28,800 alternations/hour. Power reserve 46 hours. Incabloc® anti-shock device. Chronometer Certificate (C.O.S.C.).
Functions: hours, minutes, small seconds, chronograph with two counters, tachymeter scale.
Case: diameter 44 mm, AISI 316L brushed steel.
Bezel: brushed steel with polished edges and tachymeter scale.
Back: screw, polished steel. Classic Yachts Challenge 2008 engraved.
Device protecting the crown: (protected as a Trademark) brushed steel.
Dial: black with Paris hobnails decoration, luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers. Minute counter at 3 o’clock, small seconds at 9 o’ clock, central chronograph hand.
Crystal: sapphire, formed of corundum, 2.55 mm thick. Anti-reflective coating.
Water resistance: 100 meters.
Strap: PANERAI personalized rubber strap and large-size brushed steel buckle. Supplied with a second interchangeable strap, a tool to change the strap and a steel screwdriver.
